I am a Hawkinsville native who’s always loved writing and believed in the power of good journalism- the kind that gets facts right and tells stories that matter.
After Graduating from Quinnipiac University in 2025 with a journalism degree, I came home to middle Georgia to help solve an issue at hand: people were getting their news from facebook rumors, and unreliable sources.
I am starting the Rundown to help fix the problem. I have had experience writing as an intern for both the Hawkinsville Dispatch, as well as the Hawkinsville Chamber of Commerce. In that, I have seen that our communities need professional, fact-based journalism. I come from a long line of entrepreneurs, as I still work with my family business here in Hawkinsville.
I serve on the Hawkinsville Chamber of Commerce Board, and I have recently joined Broad Street Baptist Church in Hawkinsville.
The Rundown exists because every community deserves its story told honestly and professionally, and I am here to tell yours!
